What’s New?
The next time you log in to make updates to your website, you’ll notice a fresh, Designweb-branded login screen and dashboard. While some customers may have already seen this update, it is now being rolled out to all customers with a hosting package. This new update is designed with your ease of use in mind, offering quick access to the support you need.
What Does the New Plugin Do?
Once you’re logged in, you’ll see two helpful new panels:
- Designweb Support Panel: This panel provides our contact telephone number and email address, along with a convenient button for submitting a support request. Need help? You’ll have all the details at your fingertips to reach out directly to us for assistance.
- Knowledgebase Panel: This panel provides links to common editing tasks within your WordPress dashboard, as well as access to helpful WordPress documentation. Whether you’re looking for guidance on a specific task or just need a quick reference, the Knowledgebase will have you covered.
How to Request Support
If you ever need assistance, requesting support is simple. You can do this from any screen within your WordPress dashboard. Just hover over the Designweb Support link in the top menu bar and click Request Support. This will instantly direct you to the support request form, making it easier than ever to get the help you need, fast.
Why the Update?
The main goal of this update is to offer you quicker and more direct access to support from Designweb, ensuring you never feel stuck when making updates to your website. While navigating the WordPress dashboard is second nature to us, we understand that it might not be the case for everyone. We want to make sure that you always have easy access to assistance whenever you need it.
Additionally, for larger organizations with multiple users accessing the WordPress dashboard, it’s possible that some users may not be aware that Designweb is their service provider. With this update, we’ve made it easy for every user to request support, no matter who they are, ensuring seamless access for everyone.
